Having used the road side assistance service for many years and been very satisfied, I decided to get a quote for auto insurance. The quote was initially ok, but when it came time to sign on the line, the broker, Lonny Davis, changed the pricing. I called him on it, and he went back to the original pricing. After several weeks, I did not receive a copy of my policy in the mail. I did however, receive a payment schedule. This was my first exposure to the fact the Triple A was charging me 18% interest for "financing" even though I paid them 3 months in advance. The next kicker, the untold "short sale." This means that if you cancel the insurance within the first year of coverage, Triple A charges you an 11% fee (based on cost of quoted insurance premimum). Stay clear of this company. No information upfront on fees. I have reported them to the CA Depa M.yelp.com
